Whell. What do you think blizzard will give us in christmas present? A dream would be to get a gameplay video with zerg =D

 

I hope it's zerg. Maybe it will be some new artwork and perhaps a new video?

zerg! The one thing I still need to determine which race I am destined to become. We need the zerg gameplay demo. Hopefully they're working on it now.

SC2 is gonna pwn all, but RPG>RTS in my book.

 

RTS>RPG in my opinion, but thats because I never played and good RPG's like WoW, and for all I know, it could be better that sc because so many ppl play it.

I tried ff a few times, they just seen too much alike.

WoW must be good to some extent because my roommate plays it about 6 hours a day on average.

well I don't know either, but I'm sure it has more to do with grinding than RPG. Well that of course depends on definition, 'True' RPG can only be achieved in pen&paper games and probably Ultima Online is as close to it as mmo's can get near it. But it still fails, every mmorpg is more or less based on grinding, getting new ubrer gear and just beating the bosses. It's inevitable, because that's how people want it.
Another type is when you take a role of a hero (probably destined to save the world) and follow his/her adventures instead of creating your own. In this cases customability helps you identify with the character, who often is mute as in you don't get to see what he says - you just put whatever you'd like him to say in his mouth (as long as it's good enough to convince the king you want to help him). Depending on how linear the game is and the quality of the story it may feel like playing a book or a movie (which is the case with most FFs).
It's already boring enough so I'll just recommend you try something else if FF is not your thing. If you enjoy good story try Chrono Trigger, Golden Sun or Planescape Torment, if you prefer grinding other than ovious Diablo there's Dungeon Siege, Hellgate: London and tons of mmorpgs (Mu Online, Lineage2, Silkroad etc)
In any case you should try Nox, it's short and has many things other RPGs surprisingly forget (like jumping, how many rpgs in isometric view you know where you can actually jump?)

Nox is an awesome game btw, But Ive only finished it with the warrior class.

 

Yeah, it sure is! Most games I don't touch after finishing campaign once, and I played through Nox campaign like 20 times total with various classes.
