The website is underwhelming for now (they didn't even bother including times in eng version -.-), but beta is supposed to start 26th march (this friday) at 8pm GMT+1 and everyone should be able to register from what we've been told. It's a Trading Card Game at the core, but it's got a lot of various mechanics involved, so it plays nothing like M:tG or all the japanese Yugi-Masters and duel ohs (thoguh at the same time possibilities are quite limited compared to M:tG). I played it for a long while and I encourage everyone to give it a try when the beta starts.
what? trading cards with RPG elements? how does that work? do the cards themselves level up, or are the cards tradeable, and they just amplify a character's abilities? sounds neat though. i've never played MtG, but watched friends play it, as well as yugioh and pokemon.
You have a character with statistics like hp, attack and def. This is what the info call Avatars, there's plenty to choose from with different stats and schools etc. They are the ones that level up and you attack (unlike in MtG where you attack another player directly)
The full website is now up, you can see all cards and a list of Avatars with lv1 stats there (along with lv1 stats for both paths). The color of icons under avatars' abilities refers to their rarity, if anyone's interested I can divide them based on how to obtain them. Not that anyone is Download and log in to forum seem to be off yet, presumably will be available (as well as registration) at 7pm UTC. Kinda shame about download, imo it'd be better to allow it already and have less load on the bandwith when everything starts
