CD Key Issue

Hmm, seems I've hit a problem.

I'm trying to play through the campaign for Brrod Wars again, but I can't get into certain missions. I think i may have to reinstall the game, the problem is I don't have my CD key. I suppose I could find one pretty easily, but the thing is, if I'm playing off a "community" CD Key, as it were, would I be able to play online if someone else was useing the same Key as me? Probley not, eh? Anyone know for sure, either way?

You wouldn't be able to play on Battle.net if someone else with that cdkey was playing, but you can still play LAN. I'd just buy it again though. It only costs $5-10 now.

 

Yeah, but it's a pain in the ass getting to the game store, and if I ask my parents to buy me a game I already have, they'd be pissed. not really worth the effort.

I might as well just install it on another computer with an internet CD Key, lol.

 

This the exact reason I wrote the CD key on the CD itself, with a permanent marker.

 

Heh heh, I should start doing that, I'm constantly loseing those things.

 

I haven't had to use it cause, I still have the case but should I lose it, it is there.

 

Use the StarCraft CD Key Grabber located here. It will work if you still have the StarCraft program installed.
