Cd Help

Don't know if this is the right forum, so sorry if it's not.

I just bought a new computer, and would like to install starcraft on it, but can't seem to find my cd anywhere.

I still have the brood war one, so i can still play on this computer, but i'd still like to go onto the new one. Anyone know if/how i can just move the game onto a new computer or something, or rip my cd key so i can borrow my friend's disk? Thanks!

 

Althought it is perfectly legal to crack a game that you legaly own.

 

thanks alot. However, says the version is unsupported or something. Whats the most recent version? I can play online, so i don't see what the problem would be.



Edit: actually, if someone could tell me how to revert my game back to an earlier patch that would be just fine. (i am pretty sure all i gotta do is delete a file, but idk which one). Any ideas?

Also if you have the case but not the disk you can use someone else's disk and your key to install but you will need to get a no-cd crack or use drive emulation to play it

Yes, I know.. this is pretty usefull, I had this for d2 before.

and like someone else said, it's legal to crack something you purchased.. however, posting a link of a crack on a forum isn't a good idea even if it's intended to be used by someone who purchased it..

but this is not a crack.. so it's cool.

Nope, you'll need to buy a new cd key, get one from a friend or get one on the internet.. however this website doesn't support sharing stuff like a cdkey, so please keep this topic clean or else I'll have to close it.

 

Send in the manual then. You can get a new key for $10 from the link I posted above. You can get ANY piece back case, cd, key or manual. I might recomend though copying the CD and writing the Key on it so you have a backup in case you lose your originals
