    Hi guys,

I'm looking to start casting some games but don't really know the best way to go about it. I am purchasing a nice mic later today and have FRAPS but is there anything out there that is better software wise?

Also any tips you avid casters might have for me!?

    Thanks

use audcity to record your voice and fraps is the best screen capture software out there,

So am I right in thinking you start fraps to record the video and then run audcity in the background recording your voice?

Is it easy to like the two?

well I record the entire replay first, then play it back in my editor and record then. You could try and do it at the same time, though there might be audio issues such as fraps recording only your voice, or audcity recording the ingame sounds only.

    OK so in order I:

    Record the replay in fraps.
Play the fraps back and run audcity.

(Will these two link together so audio goes with video?)

Do I then upload it straight to youtube or do I need to change file size/type?
