Carrier's Mask

Is it my imagination or does the top of the carrier have a face?

No that's just your psyche engaging in anthropomorphism by trying to find faces in inanimate objects

 

OMG! Its raynor!

 

That would explain the staring eyes in the curtain...

Wait, I think I do see him. hes by the top left Carrier, in the brush. Down and left of it.

edit: o wait, after checking the Find Raynor thread hes in a different part..lol

 

Acctually no... this picture has already had raynor found but I didn't remember so I just looked over the picture.

By the top right carrier down and to the right behind the tree.

Those look like eyes.

 

The Carrier doesn't have a face. It's a cockpit with windows out the side. You know how you can make faces on cars with the headlights as eyes, etc? It is the same with this.

And no matter how hard I try, I just can't see a face on it, not even in the zommed in picture. ???

 

I think you ought to be worried if you can't see a face in the zoomed in picture. It is pretty obvious. The two bits that curve back are like horns, and they attach to the cockpit, which has a blue window either side. These blue windows are the eyes.

 

It looks like a face in the larger picture, but not in the zoomed one. And can someone please show me where Raynor is. I can´t see him :no:.

Yes, and yes, don't take your own anthropomorphism too seriously, otherwise you'll get really paranoid and will find yourself hauled off to a mental hospital before you can properly converse with all of them.

Try staring down at the carpet, or up at a the ceiling, or anywhere with complex shapes. Look for faces. You will find them. It's not because they were put there, as faces, its because your mind stitched them together, unrelated details, into something humans are always watching for: a face.

It's not just anthropomorphism but the brain lacks the ability to keep chaos... chaos. It doesn't necessarily have to be human features, just patterns of some kind. We see humans everyday so it would be logical to organize things into human like qualities, but the brain really just want some type of organization.

Good examples: Constellations in the sky, your carpet as mentioned above stare at it and you WILL find a pattern, and finally throw a bunch of coins on the ground, stare at it, a pattern will form.
