Who is now Capital Ship and StrikeCruiser, the carrier or the Mothership. The carrier is in SC2 a StrikeCruiser, and now I have read which its a CapitalShip. I am confused.Know you an answer?
Re: Who is who or who is which? Carrier is still called Carrier and not the StrikeCruiser. And there is no capital ship.
Re: Who is who or who is which? @ 10-Neon In a few Sites are they in the category StrikeCruisers (the carrier). But in the mainsite of starcraft 2 is the carrier a CapitalShip and the Mothership in addition. Dublicate in the roll or biger choice for game playing ?
Re: Who is who or who is which? I'm not sure which one is the capital ship. I think neither one of them is the capital ship.
Re: Who is who or who is which? Trust official site content. They know who's who better than fansites unless it's mistake.
Re: Who is who or who is which? Assuming the Mothership becomes a super unit again it will act like the the Protoss Flagship while the Carriers act like generic Captial ships.
Re: Who is who or who is which? Both are considered Capital/Flag/Command ships. The reason that they are both types of the same ships is that the Carrier is the newer version of the Capital Ship. The Mothership was the one re-commissioned as the Protoss needed command ships. The Mothership seems oddly similar to what I would imagine a Xel'Naga world ship to be. Anyways. I think that is the reason they are both considered the Ultimate Thule of the Protoss. It would make sense both ways that they act as Capital Ships in there own right, one being an assault and one being a support. Also, the giving of cloak to the Mothership's would make the most sense as they came before the Arbiter and were the Thule of the Protoss for a time, just as the Colossus seems to be, and thus most likely were the ships to have developed the cloak first. As you can see that the Judicator's are the pilots of the Arbiters and they were the main support ships in SC. The mothership replaces that role as the Judicator's and subsequently Arbiters are all, but dead. So, the Mothership fits even as a capital ship reflects the power of a capital ship, but not as a primary weapon of destruction like the Carrier. Note for all who don't know: Thule = The highest up on the procession of things. I.E the gun he used was the best in the world, the gun was the ultimate Thule of the world. (Named after Thule, Greenland.) (This is the definition to my knowledge and please correct me if I'm wrong.)
