Cant connect to battle.net

I cant connect to battle.net.... When i open starcraft, and try to login it says

connecting to battlenet. The game is awaiting response from battle.net. The service may be temporarily unavailbile or your internet conenction may be down. If your not connected in a few moments please check your internet connection.

My internet connection is fine. Yet this is happening..... It was at the very start of a 1v1, very important game

If you were connecting before.. then its because B.net is actually down.

Sorry for double posting, but i can connect again. Hesitiating to go in for a match again tso soon, and I checked and the match i dropped from didnt count. There are 0 players on battle. net it says XD in starcraft.
