I haven't been playing recently 'cause ive been in China. But now i'm suffering from withdrawn symptoms and need to play. So I brought a copy in China for a very cheap amount. Surprise surprise, there was no cd key but I thought I could just use my New Zealand brought b.net account. But after fully installing the game (successfully) I could not connect to b.net as apparently my account was not valid. I heard of region locking but am not sure of how that comes into play. The game is fully patched and everything and it's just the account problem. Help please. Also can anyone explain to me how i can run starcraft 2 on my quad core i7 laptop even though dxdiag states that it has 1.7GHz cpu and starcraft 2 requires 2.2GHz or something ??

SC2 needs 2.4GHz single core, and since it's been optimised for dual core processors, you can utilise your cores which means you need a lot less clock speed per core.

As for your problem, you need to have an account for every region you want to play in. You can't access your NZ account from China, you'll need to create a new account (which you won't be able to access from NZ). Although I'm not sure if the two are in different regions...
