I cant win against any TvT and any zerg rushes its too much of a turtle for me and compositions are about the same. I need your help for the following: 1.Containment of M&M bunkers, sieges, and turrets 2.Mass cloak banshees 3.6 pool transition into mass roach and muta 4.Mass zerglings (about 40+ of them) Its getting on my nerves
1. Get creative. Drop stuff in. Deny them their natural expansion (i.e. sit some units/tanks on it before or as they try to expand....especially potent on maps where the natural is by a cliff/raised area you can plant units on). Expand beat them with resources. Nukes. BCs with Yamamoto (to pick at their edges). 2. Some turrets to warn/chase them off your base. Scanner to kill them in the field. MM can deal with them depending on what "mass" means, but remember Banshees can't attack air at all....thus the counter should suggest itself....Also, try not letting them mass banshees in the first place. 3. SCV micro. I'm also fairly certain it is possible to wall in with a depot before they arrive (you should see them coming ahead of time), which will buy time while your rax/marine completes. 6 pool is most punishing against the early refinery builds anyway. 4. Marines and a couple of hellions. Hellions counter tier 1 infantry very well even without the upgrade.
1. Creativity goes a longggg way. Feel free to watch a few of the HD Invitational's video's of the terran players. Thors+Medvac is just one example of some unique combinations. Reapers are also another touch. When facing any Mirror match make sure to use some of the underused units against other races. Great micro with Helions/Ghosts work wonders against Mirror matches who expect a normal M&M match up. 2. Turrets + pool orbital energy for scans, should normally have 1 incase of emergency with marines chilling by your SCV's. Most of the time they are just standing around somewhere else anyways. 3.Yuck. 4.Helions are your friend get used to being able to use every unit of the Terran army. Each has circumstances that they thrive in.
