Are you behind a router? You may not have the proper ports forwarded for the voice chat to work correctly.

Or, if your on a collage campus network, your IT admins are just idiots and only got the game half setup right.

Can anyone hear your voice when you use voice chat?

Okay, is the DSL modem also a router that allows the internet to be shared among different computers? If so, what is its make and model?

    voice chat

    hi,
i have a linksys wireless router with several comps linked to it. Two of them are playing starcraft ii and have no problem communicating with each other. When trying to voice chat with our friend in another home, niether of us get any reading from outside our own network.
Also, our friend has no problem communication with another out of town friend on the system.

I went to the router and set the single port forwarding to 1119 and 1120 udp. What gives?
    thanks,
    Ernie
