So I played SC2 Beta for a month or two.. Its obviously over now for a while.. So what do I do? GO play SC BW of course!...Wrong.. Five mins into the game I just couldn't play it any more... After playing SC2 Its just not the same It just looks so bad and feels so weird.. Anybody else have this problem?
I did as well. Played it for a little bit with my younger sister after beta ended,and it's just too old with that bad UI to be any fun to me anymore since I keep wanting to play sc2 instead.
What did you just say, superamazing? I have played close to nil SC1 Protoss, but i always thought people found the stalker an downgrade, not an upgrade. But yes, Starcraft 1 is not as enjoyable, since the UI and graphics of course cant keep up with a 2010 game. Or warcraft 3 for that case. IT IS IN 3D!, not 2D, as some people somehow find more interesting.
I found the stalker to be much better than the dragoon, and not just because their pathing is miles better than the goon's. Their main key feature is blink. Though many don't seem to get it unless they're getting mass stalker, it really helps out when fighting melee units or fending off a mid-game rush via air. small melee units aren't as effective against blink stalkers(blinkers?) as much as against goons, as it makes it easier for me to keep them from getting surrounded by units like lings.
I still play it occasionally, but when I first saw Starcraft 2 (about 2yrs ago) I stopped playing for months on end, the graphics were so supreme to BroodWar, I just stopped playing xD.
I know my buddy really likes to play Sc1 but its so hard to play cause the UI is so bad!!! and he keeps playing it
I am currently playing through all six campaigns as a farewell before SC2 finally is released (and to refresh my memory of the story). After that, I might never play it again. Good bye old pal, old relic.
