can SCV's lay mines?

EDIT: Oh now I see. I don't think they we're spidermines coz spidermines won't come back, I think.

even if its fake it gives us something to talk about....

Anyways, this would be amazing. It adds to the whole idea that terrans like to bunker down and play defensive. Not only do you have to get past bunkers and tanks, you now also have to cross minefeilds, which is very realistic. If anything, you should designate and area and then the SCV lays a lot of mini mines. Obstacle construction would also be nice, making it harder for your opponent to spread out their forces to avoid STank splash.... I like the new terrans, I'm a Protoss player, but I like playing defense, this gives me something new to do when I get bored. As for balance, they look mid-late game where you won't have as many ground forces so they won't be to imbalanced.

edit: as I was posting Proxy chimed in.....well if its from teh Gameplay then there s a good chance its real. Terran should be real fun to fool around with.

 

I believe that mine icon is a placeholder image because everything else in that image is slightly more detailed. Blizzard is hiding something from us... BEWARE!

Its just filler. Remember when they showed off the reaper mines? They used that picture

 

Yeah I've noticed that to for the reaper nade/mine thing's! , it was just a green spider mine picture!
