Can i run it SC2?

  1. My computer is pretty old and not so great, and i already went to a website to see if i could run SC2 and it said i couldnt, but it also said that for some other games that i run pretty well. Unfortunately i only have 1GB of RAM (1.5GB required) and a 6150 Geforce LE graphics card (6600 GeForce required) everything else is good enough to play the game. So my question is, can i still run SC2 even on the lowest settings?

Only if you're fine with the game being extremely choppy (<10 FPS). If you have PCIe x16 slot available, even upgrading to a $30~50 GPU would show marked improvement. Intel's latest integrated graphics actually work better than what you have now.

Yeah, you'll want more RAM and to buy a graphics card if you have a slot to put it in. Run this to have a better understanding where else you may need to make system improvements.

Get another 1G of ram or 512mb x2 and then upgrade your graphics card, I have a 7900GS and I can run it on low, this card costs $30 bucks I believe. However your other computer parts must be somewhat decent as well as they may bottleneck your experience.

This website runs diagnostics for free on your computer. Very fast, very easy. I've used it to see how my computer would perform before SC2 was even released. I think it may even suggest better parts and components.
