    im having a problem dloading in megaupload because theres a router which many people use, and megaupload only entertains one download at a time

    so question> can i disable a router in my net connection???


    (im having a bad connection? well ill just play other games then....)

    That depends... the only way to get internet that way without a router is to be directly connected to the modem.

    But yes, you can bypass your router. Just directly connect via an Ethernet cable to your modem as you would to your router.

    You can't bypass the modem, Jon ;D

    But I guess you have the router for a reason, to share the connection. If you connect your computer to the net modem directly then all the other computers that were getting the internet connection through the router will lose the access to it, which will make the owners pissed ;D

    my ISP is a wifi connection, thats why its so slow, coz of the router thinngy, i think my connection is shared

    If you're connected solely through wi-fi, then you cannot improve your connection speed.

    You need to plug directly into an internet modem.

    @ Kuvasz , lol, sorry, mixed up router and modem as words there. :p
