I've read some reviews, still not sure if I should buy it or not. People complain that you play in the same environment all the time. Is it really that bad? I mean, the fighting looks diverse.

Most important: is it still fun to play after finishing it? (I somehow always end up buying lots of games without multiplayer, so this is pretty important.)

Any sort of comment would be great. =D

It has no story. I mean, there is one, but whatever time you spend on it, you'll spend three times as long just running around messing around. Killing soldiers. Killing Infected. Killing random people.

As far as replayability goes....Eh, it's a twice through game unless you have to unlock EVERYTHING. Once you beat a mode (say, Normal), you get Normal Mode+, where you start the game with all your abilities and I think upgrades. Which makes the second playthrough kinda funner than the first.

It's a fun game to run around and kill stuff. If that's not your thing, then don't get it

That's fun for a change. After playing Oblivion for weeks, with multiple characters... (I'm one of those fanatics that won't join the Dark Brotherhood with their noble character.)

So it's like the latest Resident Evil games? Start a new game with everything you had? Sweet. I finished Resident Evil 4 about 10 times already. I think I'm going to like this game then. Thanks Fenix. =D

I kinda tend to ignore people who say stuff sucks, without giving reasons for it. Sorry. That habit formed because of people who say "Zelda sucks!!!1!one!" without ever playing it. This appearantly also goes for other genres. :/

Fallout 3 should be awesome, but I don't really like the theme. Also, the environment might be detailed, but I don't think I would like it as much as Oblivion. What's wrong with having a bit of colour in a game? (Although my constant effect 60ft light helmet makes everything look a bit green, lol. Maybe that Sigil Stone should've been used as a weapon.)

Ah whatever. I'm just going to rent Prototype and buy Fallout 3. My addiction to rpg games needs to be fed.

Hehe, I'm affraid my pc still sucks. Now way that it will run Fallout. As soon as I suspected that Starcraft 2 was going to be delayed again, I invested in other stuff. Maybe that's a good thing. I spend so many hours in the Morrowind editor, Oblivion and Fallout 3 would've probably killed me.

Oh well, there's always the downloadable content from xbox live. I just hope Fallout 3 adds better stuff then Oblivion. I mean, most of it was useless to combat characters, and magic users already could go to the Arcane University.

Are the offical Fallout 3 plug-ins any good? I noticed it only scored a measly 6 on gamespot. Kinda low for the game of the year. (Sweet: Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout 3, all of them got the award. Why isn't anybody trying to buy Bethesda? xD)

Point Lookout and Broken Steel are simply amazing, if ridiculously difficult on higher levels. The Pitt and Mothership Zeta are ok, but Operation Anchorage is....Ugh.

I would recommend you stay away from the game Prototype in all honesty, as it is quite mediocre in my opinion. If you really want to play it though I would definitely rent it at most.

I have to say that is a much much better choice than prototype Aurora, believe me. You will not regret it.

Long, at least for me. Rofl. I bought Prototype. I went to multiple stores, and the game is sold out everywhere. They said: "We aren't getting more either. You have to buy it on the internet."

I hate buying stuff from the internet. Why the hell do they fill an entire shelf with a freaking Tiger Woods golfing game, while they KNOW that nobody wants to buy that crap.

I was so disappointed, that I bought Prototype before I knew what was going on. Lol. I still like it. Running up buildings and messing around isn't so bad. Besides, Fallout 3 is getting a re-release anyway. All games of the year get one sooner or later. (or at the very least a classic version re-release)

Hehe, and all the expansions will probably be free by then.

All the expansions are free, at least for the PC.

Yeah, but the xbox 360 versions are €20 each at the moment. That about $30 in the US. Not cool.

Also: throwing pedestrians at helicopters rules. Bazookas are for *******. I haven't been disappointed yet. This game should keep me busy for quite a while. Then I'm going to follow all the advice here and buy Fallout 3. I promise.
