Call of Duty 4 or The Orange Box?

I cant choose x_x. I want Call of Duty 4 for the XBox 360, but I also want the Orange Box for the PC. I haven't really played the COD franchise. But I played tons of game from the Half-Life franchise. I get from all my friends to buy COD4 but I also want Team Fortress 2, Portal, and etc. What do you guys think?

 

I bought both ;D ... but i think the orange box is a better buy since you get 3 games for the price of 1 (5 if you don't have half life 2 and episode 1).

Besides PC > Xbox 360 :

 

It really depends. If you're more into hardcore multiplayer you should get COD4, but other than that you should get the orange box. The Orange Box is a much more complete package, cheap, and it's hilarious. Or you could get just Portal and TF2 from Steam separately as well.

 

I would pick Orange Box. Every game is simply amazing. Portal is unique, I have never experienced anything like it before. And TF2 is great too, if you're looking for multiplayer.

 

I have to agree with GMG to get the Orange Box. I've played Call of Duty and it's good but considering you get 5 games in the orange box. Also portal is one of the most unique and funs games I've ever played and you still have TF2 for the multiplayer shooter.

No Infantry don't do it! Call of Duty 4 is the best 360 FPS to date! The online is very addicting with its leveling and unlock system and single player is pure awesome!

 

heh i bought orange box thinking i was able to play it with my family on one system, so im pretty pissed off after buying it.

Well I've already bought the Orange Box, but. Its for the XBox 360 because my laptop isnt that top-of-the-line. Its ok right now. Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 and 2 are fun. I've already beaten Portal. And Team Fortress 2 never gets boring.

@ Seradin and Wick: No, not true. I own the game for Xbox 360 and you can play local up to 4-player split screen on 1 Xbox. I do it all the time. But you should definately have XBL. CoD4 is sick online. But there is no campaign co-op whatsoever.

orange box is great for single player gamers (i think TF2 needs to be more customizable)
CoD4 is great for multiplayer gamers (i love create a class)
