Buy SC2 Game here?

In the past the forum sells a SC2 game and you can buy it with your minerals.

I hope this will be back. I have plenty of minerals and i would love to buy it here. maybe around 50,000 minerals.

i would be very active in this forum again. lol

In past versions of the SC2forums.org store the adminstrators have put up a "Buy your own copy of SC2" with quite a large amount of minerals such as 50,000-100,000 and when the game came out they would purchase it for you and ship it to you.

As the forum evolved of course these features changed so it was lost.

 

that would be interesting and as long as no one spent anyhting on pets and what some people just might have enough for when it comes out.

It was a ridiculous amount that if you had, you really worked hard for the site
But the shop system's been reset and cloned so many times that it can't return to its former glory. But I wouldn't be interested in getting SC2 here anyway. I still need a new compycomp (wtf?), and I'll be glad if I can strike a good bargain, seeing as how I'm still a student. At least as far as the tax office is concerned.

Also, even if it didn't show who posted the original post I'd still know the author. I thought you gave up on becoming rich via the internet, Zeratul

 

It was that kind of amount that made it impossible to buy really. But a funny idea indeed.

 

Mods and Hyperion members could achieve the nessecary amount, but all them would have felt like they had cheated and wouldn't have actually bought it.

I think he meant it indirectly, as in Hyperion members tend to make longer and more considerate posts which earn them more minerals.

Well for one, you don't need to be, and two, if there's something going on in there, I was left out

 

Back when Sc2 was the one adding Hyperion members he gave every Hyperion member 10k minerals and a bank interest increase. Those two things together in tandem with what additional mineral we may have had before being added made it substantially easier to gain minerals. When I setup the current incarnation of the shop I didn't give anybody an edge, however I also made the scale pretty much impossible to reach numbers like 200k without somehow abusing the system or without admin assistance (the one exception being Vryth who has more minerals than god because he is the shop owner).
