Buddy/Ignore list?

What exactly do they do? My guess is that they don't do anything yet since stuff is still being worked on, but I can't see a reason for it except for the ignore part(possibly ignore spammy PMs?)

 

Well I added some fellows to the buddy list, I just see you can send a PM to them easier.. And if you open the list up you know who is online. But still it would be nice to know who added you to his list. I would like to know if someone likes or hates me..

 

How do you do that? I'm looking at the list I made, but I cant tell if they are online or not

 

Under Quick Links, there is an Open Buddy list option. It opens in a new window

 

nice, thx. I never noticed the 'quick links' option before. I still need to figure out this new navigation process, seems to be going well though

 

Actually this has much more features already than the old forum had. It took me this afternoon, but I managed to get used to this, and I am starting to like the new icons, options, menus.

A vB forum I frequent places the plus sign before the names and puts your buddies at the front of the online people list at the bottom of the page, which makes it easier to spot if they're online. Just a suggestion...

I need to know what mods areon when so I know who to bother

 

The current list is kind of weird. I added a few people as buddies right after the move and now in the new system they're all listed as contacts but there's no tick in the 'friend' box. What are 'contacts' if they're not the same as 'friends'?
