EDIT 9/10: Campaign is done. Both versions of All In posted.

I am working on a series of brutal campaign tutorials with commentary. I have completed just under half of the videos, including two version of In Utter Darkness (one with and one without the bonus objective).

    My channel: The Real Cromar

Also, here are the links for In Utter Darkness (with bonus objective):

    Part 1, Part 2.

    Constructive criticism is definitely welcome.

You should get FRAPS for game recording. It's what I use and most everyone else uses, and is probably what this guy uses too.

Yep, I use FRAPS for recording. Big tip: make sure you save the output files to a separate hard drive from your windows and starcraft installs. My first couple of videos get a little choppy every now and then. Once I figured that part out, everything was smooth.

This is a self-bump as I have finished every mission including both versions of All In.

Aw, cool! I'm working through brutal these days(rather slowly, I might add, as I try a new mission once/2 days or so). So far reached mission ~10 or so pretty fine with only a major problem with the one with diamondbacks(I'm trying to do the achievments on every mission too in the same run and it generally turns out to be rather hard >.<). I'll check your vids when I get stuck, mate, thanks :)

My advice for The Great Train Robbery is to back out of the mission and come back later once you have siege tanks. Because each of the trains come close to your base, you can easily move your tanks into position as soon as the train appears and destroy it in the blink of an eye. The tanks also destroy the marauder forces effortlessly. In my video, I use the tanks and support them with marines/medics (mainly to hold off attackers). The diamondbacks that you are given in the beginning are kept around as emergency backups in case the train somehow passes my tanks (it won't).

Yeah, that's what I intended to do too. I did The Dig first as it was quite easy and left the train robbery for later. I'll also do the zeratul missions now that I've unlocked them to gain access to the automated refinaries so that I can pump that extra gas out and save my workers for extra minerals, that should give me the headstart I needed to do the mission. Tbh, I'm really enjoying brutal so far. It's challenging and actually keeps you active in missions :)

    Compression

How would you go about compressing the file? i use virtualdud with xvid, but still a 1:30 gameplay is like 20M. is there anything i am not doing right?

    My game setting:
    1960x1080 reso
    all ultra

    Frap settings
i tried both full and half screen record,
half screen record is much smaller.
