I was playing last night around 1-3 AM EST and I was on a winning streak, and after about 3 games I realized all the wins were producing no points, and neither were my losses. I just got back into the groove with starcraft and I was playing my a#$ off. Im kind of mad about this and I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem seeing as it would probably take the anger off a little. I must have won at least 7 games in a row, should I message blizzard with screencaps?
You wouldn't achieve anything with that... and to be honest I don't know why you'd want to do that... it's just a game. More like 7, out of the hundreds you'll have had. Battle.net is quite often down from what I've been experiencing, so you might have been just playing at the wrong time. It could also be (going by my limited understanding of leagues and points) that you defeated lower level players and lost to higher level ones.
Well there was absolutely no loss or gains in points and in match history there is no number next to the symbol (win or loss) that shows point gain/loss. So by this I thought I would show blizzard that problem so it doesn't happen again, I am sort of angered by this, but I'm not expecting reimbursement as much as a permanent fix So thanks
I've actually read something about this before. Someone posted on here earlier complaining about the same issue of not getting any points on wins. I'm guessing that at the time, Bnet wasn't working for atleast a few people. Wouldn't be the first time.
Im just going to send bnet an email, seeing if they know about this problem or not. If they don't know about it then ill be happy to have pointed it out, but like you said there are people who have experienced this before so chances are they know about it already. Hopefully they fix it, its really easy to notice I saw it happening so if you care about this sort of thing then just take a break from Starcraft at this time I guess =D
Happened to me, got one win without points... Worse is happening right now.. after more than 300 games played, the game says i need to play 5 placement matches... 0_0, YEAH RIGHT! Edit: it's alright right now... but the game I just played before that didnt register at all in the system, it doesnt even mention it in match history... BLIZZARD FAIL. I'm sitting at 18 instead of 10, kinda lame.
