BR Replays

Do you think if someone bugged blizz enought then they could give a replay download and allow people to download the Battle reports in the form of a replay so that we could see all that happened when and other stuff not just what they want us to see?

What are you going to view the replay with? Blizzard would have to release a large protion of the games code for people to be able to view replays in replay format, which is obviously not in Blizzard's best interest.

 

I was just meaning as in a replay manager thing.

is this not very practical?

 

in my concern first of all i dont have the game SC2 to use it as a medium to play the replays.....

 

it might work, like a movie, over the whole map, but your'e zoomed in

No.
It takes too much time to make a single BR.
It takes even longer to make a program that doesn't include any gamecode, that only allows the player to zoom and..you know what? No.

 

I've thought many times that I would want this. I know it will never happen but at least I can dream. I mean, once the game is released of course.

 

Well once it is realeased the tech will be out, but I guess the majority believes that this will not be available before realease day.

Of course the tech will be out but the replays are very unlikely to be released.
