Blizzcon 09 predictions

Okay so I did a quick search and didn't a Blizzcon 09 thread yet so.... here it is with this years Blizzcon just around the corner. Lets discuss all the possibilities of what will happen there regarding SC2 and the SC universe.

 

Actually Shouldnt we get a whole section for it, or is that overkill=?

 

section should wait until the event is actually happening.

 

Or a few days before, so we can get threads up like:

What do you expect? etc.

 

i believe they will announce beta...that is all.

 

No it just means you annoy most people when you do. Anyway, i wonder if blizz will finally let some info on their new IP slip or just keep it shrouded into the dark.

 

You'll get your usual beta-key just like in every other BC.
Erm.. you'll get a goddie bag.

You get to play SC2.
You get to watch pro's play WoW.

And also Blizzard will have their World Of Warcraft news and maybe news on the new project too.

Awesome, that's right in the middle of my mini-holiday between exams. I've got from the 18th to the 24th off to study for Chem, and nothing else. Considering the last BlizzCon, and I think the last WWI as well, landed the day before some other exam block, that's pretty epic.

I'm interested in PAX this year too, which is in the first week of September. I know Runic's going to be there with Torchlight, which is why I'm interested, but does anyone know if Blizzard will as well?

 

Dude they are gonna have ozzy live! WTH Why didn't they announce this before. I would have bought tickets for that!

 

Ozzy.....? And live? Some kind of band I take it?

Regardless, I fail to see how someone would buy a ticket for, or even really be overly interested in, a side attraction. I mean, it's completely focused around huge announcements, releasing new information, revealing more media and playing the games. What's any kind of side attraction have on that?

 

You don't know who Ozzy Osbourne is? You serious? Hes been like a heavy metal god for the past 30 years.

 

Ah, Osbourne. There's a big difference between Ozzy Osbourne and just plain Ozzy.

 

I don't think there is a band named Ozzy in the first place. I was referring to Ozzy Osbourne.

 

Yeah, I kinda got that from when you said Ozzy Osbourne. Sorta gave it away.

And I apologise for not knowing every band or possible guest star that has ever existed to figure out it was Ozzy Osbourne himself. There is more than one Ozzy in the world, you know.

 

Was actually planning to go. But too bad, I have a business trip that I have to go in Asia. Nevertheless, I will be following all the hot stuff announced at Blizzcon.

 

if you watch blizzcon online through pay per view will you get a beta key? if ima pay say $50 i want a guarantee of a beta key or it isn't worth crap to pay to watch it online.
