    First here's a letter to Softlayer the host of many private servers from Blizzard's Layers.

    Well I couldn't find an official news article on this. But it's all over the net and Blizz's forums too.

    And here are a couple of links showing how this might just be a total hoax. But still most servers are taking it seriously for the time being.

    The last two links don't show me anything but I guess they highlight the multiple mistakes in the letter. +1 for it being a hoax, and +1 for would-be frauds to take proper English classes.
