    There appears to be a forum error where generates a discusion topic if one was not linked in the news post

    This is actually a feature rather than an error. If there are no topics made, you can place a piece of code in to automatically generate a topic. Although it does need to be fixed up just a little bit.

    Except that whenI visited that link it also made a topic under my name. There is an error where it is making new threads but not linking them

    I see what you mean. I'll see if I can edit out the error.

    EDIT - All fixed up now! The problem was the usage of the two different topic codes at the same time. Thanks for noticing BOP.

    Te second link isn't even necessary. The news post right below it deals with the rumor so that item can just be ammended and the second link emoved from the update

    It actualy did that to me too. I deleted the thread.
    It did that to whoever clicked the link.

    I find it strange that the forum can genrate a post under your name without your consent. You are going to have a system that will greate a news post dicussion it should take you to the edit screen so you an actually post something respectable instead of quoting the first few lines
