    Blizzard released their Battle.net 2.0 system today, albeit what only seems like a portion of it. The new system offers a unified account for all Blizzard-related games and activities. World of Warcraft players have the option of upgrading their accounts, and everyone else can register a new one. You'll also be able to tie in any other Blizzard accounts. During the registration users are also offered the opportunity to opt-in for future Blizzard betas, including StarCraft 2. Get registering!

    I got lucky with the WotLK beta, sold the key for $200 on ebay three minutes after putting the auction up. If I get lucky with the SC2 beta I don't think I'll be selling it even if I can get $500 for it, that's how badly I want to play it.

    Man, what I would do for a beta of SC2 or D3.

  7. *crosses fingers*

    I've had a Battle.net account registered for just this occasion for a while now. I even had all the games registered incase that increased my chances :D

    I have every game available to put onto your account added.

    All except for Warcraft 2 Battle.Net edition and Diablo 1.

    Heh, they don't support those.

    More like one step closer to Blizzard domination.

    The things I don't like about is that if your account gets hacked or something then your kinda screwed because there is a lot of information linked to those accounts. Even though it is just basic personal information it still concerns me a bit and the fact that its gonna be required for WoW and all future blizzard games.

    I guess there going tthe route valve went with accounts similar to steam ones.

    I don't how to explain it any better than that its all there in plain English, also all future games such as Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 are going to require you to have this account.

    If you have any questions you should go to the faq link I posted or the offical site, all the information is there if you take the little time to read it.

    They told us this before. They will made unique account login with Bnet 2.0.

  14. They're also sending out beta invites ... which is quite news worthy.

    TychusFindlay -> I thought the genius part of battle.net 2.0 was one account for all games, so I dont have to remember 5 different.

    "Q: What is a Battle.net Account?

    GMG -> me too!

  19. There's been some evidence (proof?) given at the Battle.net forums that the beta invites are fake. Also, they were given by Blazur ... who faked the captcha a little while ago. I saw this awhile ago but wanted to make sure before I get some people's hopes down.
