Its been a few days since I have bought the game and this issue is REALLY bugging me. Blizz haven't replied to any emails yet and so i have decided to come to the forum to ask some help. Whenever I run SC2 it starts the Blizzard Downloader to update to patch 1.01, at this point it loads to 16% and then stops. Soon after it tells me "tracker not responding" and disconnects my network from the internet. Any help would be much appreciated. Even is someone would be kind enough to upload a mirror for me. Thankyou Manic
I am having the exact same issue it is even stopping at 16% so any info would be greatly appreciated.
Take a look at My FAQ and read the question on "Q. I keep receiving the error ‘multiple problems saving data’ when patching, what can I do?" This will let you manually download the patch. *Edit* question has been changed to "Q. I am having an issue with the patcher, what do I do?" Combined serveral patcher questions.
After installing the patches I got the error: "Cannot connect to battle.net" To fix this go: Click on Start, and then Run. Type regedit and click Ok. Click on the + icon beside the HKey_Current_User branch. Click on the + icon beside the Software branch. Select the Battle.net branch and press the delete key. Click on the + icon beside the HKey_Local_Machine branch. Click on the + icon beside the Software branch. Select the Battle.net branch and press the delete key. This should also fix the updater error.
I believe so, i checked regedit after and they are back again. I noticed patching issues with WoW only started with the integration of battle.net as well. It worked so im happy. Thank you very much for the the help
