Blizzard Confirms Unannounced Next-Gen MMO

So they are working on a new MMO after all. Neither a Starcraft MMO or a Warcraft MMO. Pretty cool stuff if you ask me. I doubt it'll be released for quite a while though, at least not until the WoW craze dies down and way after SC2 is released. Perhaps this'll be announced at the next Invitational? :thumbup:

 

Either they're making diablo actual mmo, or doing something completely new

MMORPGs are just money makers, nothing else.

Tbh, i don't like all the MMORPGs out now, they are all trying to act like World of Warcraft and earn money, they fail epically...

Although Diablo 2 as an MMORPG would be cool.

i know blizzard wont do another diablo, if blizzard dose another diablo there ganna kill an already finished story plus i'm sure blizzard is not that crazy. I bet there making a hole new type of game or there ganna finish the Sc story line with a MMO.

 

They've already butchered one story, what's one or two more?

 

I think its Diablo 3.... Blizzard has been recruiting concept artist who has an fascination for the diablo world...

If they really are making Diablo 3 to be a MMO i hope they wont butcher the story, like they did with Warcraft....

Maybe they will make a more story based MMO where people move around in a free world, but team up for the next mission in the act they are instead of a lot of stupid cliche WOW missions?? A MMO game with a main story line that you can finish??

Hopefully something free and not a F****ing timewasting moneymachine like wow.

Or even better: its a whole new game in a whole new universe....

 

that would be crazy, make Diablo storyline based, while having warcraft go grind? something's not right

of course that's just speculation, EVERY mmorpg is about grinding

 

Times are changing... maybe the world is ready for a story based MMORPG??

There will anyway be alot of grinding.... better gear.. levling... and so on...

 

I don't think so, 9 milion players on WoW are enough proof, though it's my opinion only

There were mmos that put stress on actually roleplaying, like Ultima Online, but in the end it was always about grinding, even on hardcore roleplaying servers. Sad, but true

 

Then lets hope there wont be a new grinding MMO from Blizzard or they will lose some of their well earned respect in the gaming community....

 

didnt think I would see this happen.... now they are just competing with their own mmo and its dumb cause they already have that market conquered
