    Blizzard.com Redesign:

    After quite a few dry weeks since blizzcon a rather large update has been released, could this be in preparation for the New beta testing of the new Battle.net??

    Several new developments have been released.

    • Blizzard.com has been redesigned. Check out the new design at Blizzard.com.
    • Blizzard has also launched its own channel on YouTube, and uploaded many cinematics and trailers (all previously released).
    • Karune just now announced that Q&A Batch 53 is in localization and will be released soon.

    Notes: I love the new design for Blizzards website, its beautiful and makes me really excited for the Battle.net interface!!

    Nice. They turned it into something more lively and accessible.

    Though I think that the more I hear of the New Battlenet, the more I fear for the future of LAN

    Under company info blizzard has added a Did you know section which is different each refresh some of them are quite interesting/hilarious


    In July 2008 Vivendi Games merged with Activision, using Blizzard's name in the resulting company, Activision Blizzard.

    In August of 1995, the company moved from a 3,600 sq. ft. office in Costa Mesa to a 14,000 sq. ft. office in Irvine, CA.

    A copy of StarCraft was taken into space on the shuttle Discovery during the first docking mission for the International Space Station in May of 1999.

    World of Warcraft was featured in a question on Jeopardy during 'College Week' in November of 2005.

    The development of 'The Death and Return of Superman' (1994, SNES) taught everyone a valuable lesson: Superman does not kick.

    In 2004, a tornado devastated the World of Warcraft datacenter in Ashburn, VA, mere hours after a Blizzard exec was overheard expressing his optimism about the impending game launch: 'Not even God can stop this now!' Lesson learned.

    what is going on front page is the upcoming Q&A and BR 4 which are both in localization phase..

    Why even bother going there? It contains more trolls then a random D&D based game.

    I realise my computer is so old it can't even browse the net seamlessly. That's a fancy site, though I'm not sure the update was needed. At this point at least.

    This is Blizzard we are talking about they always have to be unnecessarily fancy now :p. Just like their new office buildings that had like marble floors statues of their game characters and a theater in it, I'm sure that wasn't necessary either.

    I like the new site it looks nice while still being clean and easy to navigate and runs very smoothly at least for me.
