Blizzard Announced Development Podcasts!

Blizzard has announced a series of podcasts that they will begin in January highlighting the inner workings of the Blizzard Development team.

The first episode will feature:


BlizzCast Episode 1:

Interview with Sam Didier (Art Director SCII): Concepting Art for the StarCraft and Warcraft Franchises
Interview with Jeff Kaplan (Lead Designer WoW): Highlights of Sunwell Plateau and Patch 2.4

The podcasts will also feature a number of community involved activities, such as tournaments, competitions, and other events. I think we can all expect some excitement to come out of this new program.

Keep yourself updated and make sure to look out for the new podcasts in January.

They are related to the ipod, typically you are meant to download them then sync them to your ipod to listen to them. I do not have an ipod but I do believe they are files that can be played on your computer anyway. Video podcasts are low quality (visually) as they're meant to be viewed on the small screens of an ipod.

Yeah, you can play a podcast via WMP/iTunes but the graphics is pretty bad, its ultimatly meant for an iPod. I got a nano for christmas and I have this already downloaded onto it, and I must say im pretty impressed.

I haven't the faintest. In fact, I have a couple requests in to Blizzard that I haven't heard back on either.

So they're either busy, or they're up to their usual shenigans of "We didn't get your e-mail because our spam blocker blocked it."
