Hello! So I looked at several pages of threads but did not see my problem adressed. I have a Dell Vostro 1510 with a different motherboard installed as my previous graphics card broke. Starcraft used to play fine on lowest settings. Now it is somewhat choppy with my intel graphics card but it was ok. However, at seemingly random times in single and multiplayer mode, my screen will blink gray then go to a black screen with only my starcraft cursor showing. Sometimes the game shows up again sometimes it keeps repeating the blink grey > black with cursor > blink grey > etc. After four or five times, it freezes and I can no longer move even the mouse (which I could still move around before). Nothing works including Ctrl+Alt+Delete. If I wait the blue screen shows up and my computer restarts. If I'm impatient I just hold the power button. Is it just that my computer is on the edge of the minimum requirements? systemrequirementslab.com's "can you run it?" said everything met the minimum except the graphics card although it said that all the sub-points were good: (Video RAM 1, Hardware T&L, Pixel Shader version, Vertex Shader version). If someone could help that'd be great. Thanks
Looks like your vid card isn't really up to handling SC2. It's 358mb (?) but the Mobile Intel cards are definitely not designed for gaming.
