Black Screen 10~ min into game

Hey guys, first post in this forum and i'm really sorry if this question was already asked. i got this game for the holidays and installed and updated it. So i started playing, and around 10 min into playing, the screen goes black, but the computer is still on. Can some one please help me out? i have a HP dv6 laptop with ATI mobility radeon HD 4530 with a AMD turion X2 ultra dual-core mobile zm-85 2.3 ghz and 4GB of RAM. i went to Can you run it.com and it said i would be able to but at low settings. Please help me.

that usually happends when im using the map editor... except the screen turns white-grey'ish instead

 

I would check your temps.

Speedfan is a good utility for that. Check your vid card with it before, about five mins in. If there's a notable rise in heat, it means one of two things: Your vid card isn't good enough, or that there's a large buildup of stuff in your system and needs cleaning.
