    I hear a lot of people talk about gameplay of starcraft 2, saying they have played it. They are not with a large media corp. nor do they work at blizzard, so I was wondering if there was something I am missing. Is there a beta version open to the public?

    Anyone who goes to the conventions gets to test play it. There's no open beta as of yet.

    Just Blizzard's big ones. Like Blizzcon and WWI. I don't know if E3 also counts too.

    Blizzard hasn't been to E3 since last year, and they're not attending E3 this year. The next opportunity for playing SC2 is at Blizzcon, which is on October 11th, at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA.

    I think I actually might be able to go this year. If I ever have a chance to go to SoCal around that time I just might stick around for Blizzcon. Sure want to, anyway.

    I'd rather play the finished/polished version than this build. I don't know, I'm weird though. Gives me more of a "OMG I GOT THE GAME YAYYYY!" feeling.

    Have to agree, I just hope that StarCraft II will live up to its reputation. It seems to be so far, keeping the faith of what's been made, but as many know, not all seems what it truly looks like, right?
