ohhwells, what can i say? sc2 Wings of Liberty coming out probably mid to end of the year in 2009. lol i remmeber back in 07 i thought sc2 will come out end of this year =]
This was about the Starcraft II EU Press Conference on the afternoon of 11th october. You didn't attend because you did the US one, I think. It's weird for me, why starcraftzine.com was there, but they made a video about it, which I'm still waiting for. Until that, the only thing I can say, that Chris Sigaty said (for sure) that the Starcraft II beta won't be released in 2008, and he mentioned that (not for sure, but me and my collegue heard the same) they would like to invite 40,000 people to the beta, so it's uncertain that they will give out beta keys openly, because of the facts translated by kuvasz. This does not imply that the fansites won't get beta keys, I think when Chris Sigaty talked about friends,family,vip and press, he thought about fansites too. I wanted to ask him about it, but he was in a rush ..
They've already given out beta keys publicly. About 15,000 from BlizzCon. And if you're saying 40,000 that leaves 25,000 keys.
so the majority of us will not get beta keys....and so it means we will have to wait that much longer for the game.... -Zerks
The fact that he was at Blizzcon and that he posted it as an article at the Hungarian SC2 site clearly rules that out. A bit more credit to the man, alright?
would it be possible for people to give friends beta keys to play on their accounts too.....or would BLizzard then come knocking on your door and eat you? -Zerks

I want beta in this year ) Blizzard PLEASE!!! On this website www.blizzcon.com/beta wich redirect on wow site say: Note: We are no longer taking Worldwide Invitational '08 or BlizzCon '07 beta code registrations for the Wrath of the Lich King beta. Future beta registrations will be opened after the week of November, 13th. that means at least one month in advance they will put on that website... Starcraft 2 Beta bla bla......probably after November 13 they will write to us something ) I hope they will write BETA IS HERE !! !
I like your enthusiasm but... most of us here will get nothing from the beta period, and since there is no official beta period set, even if we do get the beta this year, which I highly doubt, it doesn't bring the publish date any closer.
I say the all the users on this website(Of course not the people who don't even post) and other popular SC2 websites should get beta keys, but you MUST already be joined to the website and have a certain amount of posts. That could probrably fill up the other 25,000 lol >.<
The guys at Blizzard are...definitly, the real marketing experts. The forums...the rumors...the "leaks"...They know perfectly well how any comments that fall outside of their yard are gonna spice the anxiety of the people and make them buy the game. Whenever it comes out. in one moth, 5 months, WHATEVER.
