I was playing 2v2 P/P V. P/P, and my ally quit like, 5 minutes into the game. I got big, got like, 12 void rays and terrorized their buildings while i built pylons all over the map. literally ALL over. So when all my rays finally got killed, I actually convinced them there was a bug in the game and they had already won, so if they left they would just get the credit. It worked, and i won. I honestly laughed for 15 minutes. P.S. is is allowed to toy with the minds of your opponents and take advantage of their stupidity?
Rofl, almost as good as when in the original SC i pushed space bar all the way to the middle of the screen and typed "CHEAT ENABLED!" and then the other person i was playing typed "black sheep wall" they claimed i was a cheater and left. I got the win.
nice work, seeing as you never cheated, they can hold NOTHING against you. its like poker, just bluff and you cant lose
"That's lame. It's not a win if you convince them to leave." I believe that Gunfun's battle.net profile begs to differ lol ^_^ Was it honorable and whatnot.....not at all, but it was an interesting way to pull out a win nonetheless which makes it fun either way
Very true, it really shouldnt be considered a win, but it doesnt hurt to have fun with people from time to time. Keeps the fun going.
sorry way off topic... I love your sig... would love one that isnt maplestoried like a 7 year old korean child lol
It's not whether or not he deserved the win (which he did deserve) It's whether or not it was an honourable victory Think the real world, Nations bluff out their power ALL the time, I reckon hes just doing the same
lol, there is a replay out there of a guy who types something in chat that looks like an error, something like player is out of sync syntax error or something, he lifts his cc and scvs (destroys one that wont fit), the other guy scouts and quits when he sees he isnt there. anyway manipulating people is part of the game so a win is a win
I once typed "well played" when a zerg player wiped out my roaches with banelings...he then pretty much stopped trying and 10 minutes said "I thought you'd given up when you said well played" ...seems that words hold more power in starcraft 2 than an army does . I mean if i said gg then it'd be slack but surely i can acknowledge good play on a micro level without the other player thinking i'm surrendering.
