Before I buy

  1. I would like to know if my computer is up to par with Starcraft. I have a Toshiba with an i3 dual processors at 2.26 gig and 4 gigs of ram

    If you don't trust the tech of the site, realize at Intel uses the same technology for its Driver Update Utility page.

    Actually, that utility doesn't really handle Intel graphics all that well (maybe at all?). I think as soon as it sees Intel for graphics, it automatically fails you. The graphics on Core i3 is roughly on par GeForce 6600. Another thing, SC2 works surprisingly well even on hardware below minimum specs. It does seem as if the CPU requirements are a "hard" minimum, but I've seen several comments about people with Intel G45 graphics that have been able to play the game on low with minimal lag.
