Actually I am usually on the side of the terran. I get out my double racks making marauders and marines, get stimpack and off I go. The protoss seems to be unable to deflect that (at least on maps like scrap station). By that time they barely have one immortal out. Couple of zealots and stalkers do not stand a chance.

hmm i dont think ive ever been rushed by a terran, its always them turtling.

a few cannons would obviously help them and i wonder if getting high templars is possible.

If the toss scouts early enough he can spot it. I usually get mass zealots with sentries. Once charge is up the odds even out. By then they should be pushing medivacs though and if my ob picks it up ill be teching to collosi.

Sentries to help block off & separate forces on your ramp. Use high ground to your advantage as most Terran players rushing spend most of their energy on mules and don't have enough energy to spot with a scan. If you feel like a rush is coming on don't try to quick tech to something and leave yourself exposed to an attack, get some forces on the board and get ready to repel the oncoming forces. If you scout a rush a proxy pylon is also a good idea -- hide one by his main and when he comes knocking at your door warp in some Zealots and go for a rush yourself while you try to hold your own line.

if you rush MM out of two rax, what do you attach to your rax? obviously you need at least one tech lab, but do you leave the other rax bare or attach a reactor? Does it save you more time to pump marines without waiting for a reactor to build, or does the double assembly line make up for the time lost?

I would probably say to get a few cannons at the choke to your base, get some zealots (and charge asap), plus some stalkers(for support), some sentry for forcefield (to separate their forces), then rush to high templar to psychic storm them into oblivion =)

Get the reactor. Just get one or two marines first to fend off early rushes.

You really don't see them getting Immortals?? I see so many people just go for early robo and get about 1 Immortal and another one under construction with couple sentries and zealots so often. (I guess it'll be hard to rush immortals since they increased the construction time on the new patch :S )
