    I beat a silver league player a couple of days ago and ever since I haven't played one since...

    I've been getting these guys who haven't' even done placement matches yet. What gives :(

    That's not what I meant. I was simply asking why I wasn't playing higher players, not insinuating that I should be promoted.

    The higher the ranking/mmr of players you beat, the more of them that you're gonna face, the lower the ranking of players you lose the lower the amount of higher ranked players you're gonna face... I have been pitted against high ranked platinum players for some time and winning with consistency, and yesterday I played a few matches(today that is, early in the morning) and I had a terribad losing streak and was matched against a couple silver players in the end(to one of which I also lost)...
