That's an amazing collection of screenshots. Great find, blindoutlaw!!

EDIT: What is this? It bears quite a resemblance to a Cerebrate if you ask me.

Aside from the distinct colors and the unique designs of the center pieces featuring them, each and every one also has a unique command bridge, as well as another additional aesthetic deviation.

Yamato: Regular command bridge + wider hammer-shaped front

Missile Barrage: Wings on the command bridge + reinforced hammer-shaped front and Missile Barrage batteries on the wings that connect the main hull with the weird rod things.

Defense Matrix: Extended command bridge with 360 degree view on the top + extra armor covering the weird rod things.

You sure? I could see why they would change the Evolution Chamber's design (looks similar to the newest Ultralisk Den) but that seems a tad extreme.

That's Anti-Gravity, however I don't know why on Earth they look as though they're attacking.

Maybe they can attack while floating.

    But Carriers should be shinier.

An anti-grav'd unit is stunned, so no it can't attack.

But we aren't told of every update. Maybe they just tried of making them able to attack and took a screenshot of it so we would discuss it.

huh. i totally missed the update where BC's got defensive matrix. that's pretty interesting though. i assume it can only protect itself? the ultimate terran meat shield?

Yes, a BC can only cast a Defensive Matrix upon it self.

does anyone know if it can survive a nuke with dmatrix? they changed the nuke to just a straight 800 damage or something, right? BCs could survive with 2-3 HP in the original.

A BC doesn't even need a D-Matrix to survive. Of course it would help, but a more sound plan than to waste energy would be to just move out of the way...

Anyways. the Nuke in SC2 deals 300 damage +200 vs buildings, so it would only take 300 damage which is even less than it did in SC. The D-Matrix only gives 200 hp btw, so it wouldn't absorb the entire impact.

really? that's pretty low. i thought they kept the "double nuke kills everything" mechanic. now it would take at least 3 to kill the CC/nexus/hives....

    Canada, eh?
...Even if it gets the +200 damage bonus against buildings?
