I can't login to play Starcraft 2 today, is anyone else having the same problem? (New WoW expansion is being released tonight and the Battle.net website seems to be down too...) Sucks b*lls, WoW shouldn't even affect Starcraft 2... Battle.net is worse than Steam. It may actually put me off the game altogether... Can't even f*ckin' play it ffs.
It's because of cataclysm launch. They have shut down all bnet activities to ease the subscriptions... Edit: Which ofc sucks, they shouldn't have the games interract with each other...
Apparently it's only Europe which is DOWN. As us.battle.net web is working :| I don't understand, if it's true that SC2 is not working because of WoW, why the hell should I care, and why the hell don't they put it on seperate servers??? :| I'm dissapointed on what Blizzard team did here..
Last nite, the server kicked me and my partner in the middle of a match. Before that I see a message that says: all achievements are disabled until further notice. Thinking nothing of it we continue to play on. Then all of a sudden, an error message pops up and says I have been dropped. I quickly look at my network status: all is good there. I decided to reset both the modem and router. Restart all network devices in the house. All network connections were brought back online. I logged back in to the server, and message my partner of what happened. The server kicked him to. I believe this incident was due to update servers.
It's working find now, I think it was just that new WoW expansion that was creating problems with Battle.net.
