Beta in March?



This was found by Blazur on the SCII forums. This is one of the random letter combos you have to type in at the end of your post to verify that you're not a robot/drunk or w.e. The letters/numbers suspiciously look like a reference to the Sc2 beta, even the background isn't "WoW"ish like the other Captchas.

I think this is highly suspicious haha. I think it is legit tho. But, maybe i'm just being more optimistic. That's pretty cool.

 

well i personally prefer January or February over march.

 

.....Today is January 20 so i think that could be a legit thing but that's interesting how someone found that just goes to show how much anticipation this game has.

 

thats an incredible find. not only does it say that but the background of it is full of stars and space. and on top of that, its blizzard. of course they would do something like that.

 

My birthday is March 4th.

So I'm voting no. Because, if it is true, nobody will show up to my party D:

What, SC2 beta isn't a good birthday gift?

 

I saw someone else on the Diablo3 Battle.Net forums got some kind of message like '4tt4ck 1r4q' or something along those lines.

...Wish I could still remember what it was.

 

I've seen tons of threads like that. I actually responded to that one So, since my reply to that is as valid here as it is there, I'll quote myself ...

This is the type of thing that blizzard does i don't want to be too sure about it because it may just be a coincidence.

 

If it's not "sufficiently" proven you can just ignore it especially from someone known to make troll topics like Thor-Axe. Then, again Blazur makes a ton of troll topics ...

 

Excellent find, if this is true. The forum will owe you a standing ovation should this pan out to be correct.

I think it's just a random coincidence that it was arranged that way. Although, I do think it is quite possible that it could be in March but I don't think there is anything behind the authentication image besides the fact someone interpreted it as saying "beta in march"

However, I would be delighted to be proved wrong .

 

Apparently, the normal captchas have WoW backgrounds- this one had stars. They've been trying to reproduce it, but haven't pulled it off, though they seem to have found at least one more with a "space" background, the text itself was meaningless.

I'm not holding my breath on this one.

I think it is a beautifull suit of letters and numbers. Maybe it is thrue, maybe not. I think they badly choose the date of the beta.
If it was in February, no doubt would have been allowed

They have pretty much came up with enough evidence to prove that this is false.

Maybe the beta can be earlier now?

 

When I confronted Blazur with the above link he admitted to it being a hoax
