Attention all Starcraft2forum.org members

To make our jobs a bit easier as mods, please go into more detail when reporting posts. Most the time, we can figure it out, but it helps to know exactly what's wrong. Example: A topic is reported for a double topic. It saves us mods time we could use for helping other people as well if we don't have to go searching through the forums for the original. So, give us the link in the report.
The more detailed you are, the faster we can fix problems.

Maybe the word limit should be removed?

 

There is a word limit? Maybe half of my reports were chopped in half and you couldn't understand it? lol
While at it, we should have a lot more characters to comment on power level changes.

 

It's easy enough to explain what's going in the limit provided. It's just we keep getting reports that have a one or two word description. It makes it a little hard for us to figure out why it's been reported sometimes.

As for the Power Level thing. That's solely the admins ability, none of us can change features of the forum.

How does this limit work anyway? When I report threads I go way beyond the default space and need to scroll quite a lot to see if I made everything clear or not. Does it show in any way? Like when you comment on power level changes - no characters will appear after a certain number. Or does it allow you to type as much as you want but only sends the first X number of characters?

 

Your reports aren't cut off that I've noticed. I actually didn't even know there was a word limit.

 

There is. Actually, no word limit is enough to hinder my b1tching -.-, as it seems.

Has anyone enforced the mineral penalties for duplicate topics that SC2 Forums mentioned in the news bar at the top? That might help

 

Yeah, we have, if it's a real duplicate.

 

I don't see any limit guys. You can type as much as you want: just try and click on the button if you want to find out.
