I'm thinking about buying this game for my 360 but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I've heard it was really good and some people said it's mediocre. Would you recommend it?

Just rent it if you aren't sure, with some games the only way to know for sure is to try them out yourself.

    I don't have a 360, but if I did, I would buy this game.

The graphics look awesome, and the ability to move around how you like is an excelent addition to the game. I like that you have the ability to jump over planks or be able to swing from under them, the game doesn't look like it would ever get boring.

The only thing that looks annoying is the beggar women who follow you around asking for money and food.

However, like Dark said, if you are unsure, find a place where you can rent the game to try it out first.

This would be a game that I would only rent. While it looks and plays great, I have heard that it is really repetitive, and the plot is fairly annoying, so I great game to rent and get your enjoyment out of, but has very little replay value.

I don't own it, but I played my friend's copy for a few hours. First, it doesn't get good until you learn the controls. Until then, you can't do anything you see on T.V. and you suck a lot. Then, the side quests are very repetitive. However, i didn't get a chance to do any main quests so maybe they are more exciting.

So, what was long long explanation about? RENT IT. Its a fun and pretty good game, but not really an own game, unless you like it and want to do all the side quests.

I usually use GameSpot for most of my reviews and are accurate to say the least. Some friends of mine that played it said the storyline was very poor and just seemed like a senseless slaughter fest. I suppose its personal taste as to what you expect in a game of similar genre. I thought the game was pretty cool, but wasn't too impressed. I'll stick to my CoD4/Halo 3 thanks =D

How does freezing the game delete your data, isn't the data saved in a separate storage device? I only play Nintendo systems, so I know about the memory cards, but what does the PS3 use?

Considering the PS3 has such great processing potential, I can't believe it has freezing issues.

Its about the 6th time it froze so it didnt unfreeze ( some times it does! ) then I manually turned off the ps3 becasue You cant with the controller when its freezed, so then I turned it back on, went into assassins creed then no data...cannot continue! *wtf?* so then I went out of assassins creed then into saved data, It was my assassins creed data, its now called corrupted data :(

That's either an issue with your game, which can be fixed by exchanging it at wherever you got it, or an issue with your PS3, which you'd need to send it to get repaired. Sorry, but there's no hope for your corrupted data.

However. I've never heard of that issue with AC, so it's not necessarily valid to the discussion.

    Anyway.

If you liked Prince of Persia, you'll like AC. It's how PoP would've been in a free roaming environment. Sadly, the story/actual gameplay is....lacking. You do the same four or five things every single mission. 'Twould've been much better if they had like 15 different methods, and swapped 'em up, or even let you choose which method you'd like to use.

The combat system is...Interesting. At first, while you're getting the hang of it, you'll die, or at least sustain 'mortal' injuries multiple times. But once you get the hang of it, it's rather intricate, and you'll be long gone before they even think to swing.

Sooo....If you're looking for a hardcore, gameplay-oriented game, just rent it. If you wanna run rooftop to rooftop and randomly climb/jump off stuff, buy it. It's fun.

ok, now I just need a PS3, which is also too expencive for my college budget ;D

Do you think it has better graphics because of its superb processing power? It sounds like that would be the case.

I REALLY enjoy this game. It's also a planned trilogy, so hopefully the developers take suggestions for the next game.

The underlying plot is also pretty good and I can't wait to finish it.

All games for both consoles look the same, none have graphics above the other that would sell the console, except for 360 and PS3 vs. Wii.

If you could choose between PS3 and 360 though, I'd say PS3. I heard the 360 version had some nasty bugs.
