Artwork Trailer Protoss High Templar?

In the artwork trailer from the time between 1:21 and 1:30, you can clearly see 2 of some kind of protoss unit behind the lines and sort of pushed back into the base, and they seem to be floating up and down. My first thought was zealot, but they didn't charge into the battle with the zerg like the rest, and at 1:28 you can see the upper one do what seems to be casting some power on the zerglings.

As far as I know, this is the first glimpse of what I'm guessing to be the Protoss High Templar, I mean there isn't anything on the official site about it.

What do you think it is?

Yup, I noticed that a while back. I sure hope that they'll announce the Templar soon, since it looks pretty done.

 

now all we need to know is if their dark counterpart will return as well ;D

 

Like I mentioned somewhere else, most remaining Protoss are of Dark Templar origin, so having the only DT unit the Stalker would be stupid and racist. There are really big chances that the DT will appear.

Anybody that's got a reason why the DT should NOT be included speak now, or forever hold your tongue.

Anyway, Psionic Storm is like THE Protoss spell. No spell is used as commonly , not even Disruption Web and Recall put together.

 

I kinda hope they do something with the powers, I mean how many of us use defilers more then once in a blue moon.

 

Dude, fear the Defiler! In the right hands a Defiler can make a fleet of BCs and Carriers disappear in a *snap*...

 

Defiler is great! and templar is great too! I mean they are very cheap to produce for the damage they can dish out. Psionic storm is a force to be reckoned with!

 

Always piss off my friends in LAN games, plague their BC fleet ;D

Yeah I noticed them as soon as you pointed that out and it is definitly a good thing they are still in. I just hope the protoss units we haven't seen are of the dark templar persuation because we have only 1 so far...and how I love my dark arts.

 

Well we have Dark Templars, Stalkers, Dark Archons and Corsairs as the only DT units ever seen. Stalkers are definitely in, Corsairs definitely out. DTs and DAs are bound together, so one being in the game automatically includes the other.

 

They seem to be all glowing blue powe. Maby the new high templare doesn't have a phsical body anymore. Much like an archon maby?

 

High Templar in-game may spell out Archons returning as well.
I love those 350 shields.

 

They made it 350 sheilds to make up for its health. 10. So nothing specail about them exept there looks and attack power.

 

I hate it when theres a science vessel around.

 

Technically, that means that they have 360 HP, with 350 of it refillable instantly.
