40kb is short to you in pure word form? I wish I had Microsoft Word installed so I could count the number of words.
6,147 words, and 11 pages...not exactly short IMO. It was still a good read though, it gives you a different view on SC2.
Changed the title so you all can get on topic. I like this article so far, as it's not the same perspective of the pro sites, or even Jon- but more like my own. ...Of course, I did get to play it way early on, so I was never overcome by the "oh no it's going to suck" mentality, because I liked what I saw.

hehe i printed this article out, 7 pages of solid text. but it was worth it. after reading it im pumped for Starcraft II again, i went as far as after reading it having a dream of getting into the beta, as sad as that is. Great read!!
Ahhhh ... Good ol' StarCraft 2 beta dreams. I used to have those often but now I never get them... It's like a lucid dream. I wish I had them more Since I can't play StarCraft 2 now, dreaming about blissfully playing the beta is the next best thing.
I had to force myself to stop doing that. It may be fun to think about StarCraft 2 when you're peacefully asleep but amassing too much hype to contain while fully conscious isn't very fun It's like waiting for the prison release day.
