Are you going to purchase any/all of Starcraft II Installments?

With Starcraft II finally kicking into the beta phase and hopefully released later this year, I'm just wondering whether you guys will be buying just the 1st installment (Wings of Liberty) or all three installments of Starcraft II?

Personally, even though I don't really like the idea of having to purchase 3 separate games, I will probably still end up buying all of them.

 

All of them. Definitely.

 

You have to remember it ins't 3 seperate games, it's one game with at least 2 guranteed expansions (which considering the time between Sc1 and Sc2 is a good thing).

 

Those that say that will only buy one or two are lying themselves (or plan on downloading them illegally)

People say I hate buying 3 games/expansion packs/whatever you want to call them. But look at WoW. It's on it's 3rd expansion pack out soon. So that's 1game+3xpacs=4purchases just to be uptodate with WoW. And people are gladly paying this.

And the only difference between this and SC2 is you knew about the 3 parts of SC2 before hand unlike WoW as it's Xpacs were only announced soon before their individual release. I have to think people will either buy in my opinion:

zero parts of SC2: Simply because they do nlt like SC2
one part of SC2: most likely the first: As in they buy it and find out SC2 is not for me, I don't like it.
all 3 parts: like most of us addicted to anything SC blizzard churns out.

 

yeah, we are all just willing slaves to the blizzard profit making machine

 

I'll probably buy all of them too. I'll even to try to buy the collector's editions.

Has anyone here played the beta yet? If so what is your opinion on it?

 

Best get pre-ordering then from a store you can trust. Probably the only way you'll ever get a limited edition.

 

All of em definitely, i even just recently installed my old broodwars again to play some SC lol

 

depends on the price...if each were 50$ each then probably not..i think if they do do three separate games, they would probably add units or something that would attract players.

 

1: I will buy all of them. Definitely.
2: Nodec, the two, Zerg and Protoss are expansoins, not whole games, but they will add new units, as Blizz have done in all their expansions, be it SC, WC or WoW.

 

True, I'll probably pre-order it on the first day they'll announce the edition.

 

who would only buy the protoss or zerg part? They're expansions.


I think i'll buy all three.

 

Recently i've been really excited about lots of games, played them, liked them, didn't bother with the expansions/DLC.

But i am sure that i will get the 2 expansions for SC2
