In about 1 out of 30 games I somehow manage to assign rally points to my starting workers. ANNOYING. And I want to know why it's happening since I'm playing the same at the start of each game and I don't hold the shift button or whatever. Here's the thing: I select my scv's and split them up 3-3. Sometimes no split. What happens is that instead of mining I get a continuous rallypoint assignment. This has happned to me as every race. In fact, my very FIRST game on battle.net was like that. I spawned zerg and after realising that I have lost too much time I quit the game. As I desperately try and click on new mineral patches but the grid of green lines just spreads itself and my SCV's don't mine but only dance around.. Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, why does it happen and how do I prevent it? As I've said I don't think I'm holding shift or alt or any other hotkey.
Hahahaha, one time it happned as I was playing terran.. I fell behind like 15 seconds at the begining, then I sort of stayed in the game, I was sad, and I decided to only make marines and go for an "early" push. I won that game.. He must think I'm a retard or something... But honestly, going mass marine against a protoss that's doing his /stalker/sentry/immortal and zealot push is REALLY gonna hurt Unless you get collosi out in time you're screwed.
It's you dude. Work on your control. And, why would you wimp out just because you're behind? Sometimes I get minimized by a popup and am a minute or two behind. Or, worse, sometimes I get stutters during major battles which give my opponent free ten seconds to attack my units without my control. I don't give up though. In fact, I never give up.
Would you be one of those people who makes an extra command centre to hide in the corner of a map so we have to waste time searching for it? That kind of never giving up
i had this problem how i solved it was BUTTON SMAAAASH well hey it worked press evry button on your keyboard hit it and it will stop atleast for me
No. In fact, if I'm clearly beaten, i.e. I have no miners and no units but they do, then I leave. Be reasonable people.
Well I don't leave either, but that game was over.. I managed to send my drones out in the middle of the map as well. Couldn't assign anything it was just green lines all over the monitor.
There's always a chance. If I gave up when it looked grim then I would've cheated myself out of at least five classic replays that I can enjoy for many years to come.
