To be fair, my phobia extends a bit past giant japanese hornets, and covers pretty much all wasps, bees and anything that looks like that. @EMR, yes I read that. Thanks to my feelings regarding bees, that did not make me feel one bit safer.
Im actualy alright around bees, because i know, depending on the type, that they wont attack me right off the bat. Screw wasps and hornets though.
I'm... uneasy around wasps and the like, but considering I've been stung several times I'd say it's legit. PS: onions are teh sh*t
I actually freeze up or panic instantly. I am incapable of watching soccer matches because of the vuvuzela's sounding like angry bees. I got stung twice in my life (well, one of the time was five stings), but already had the phobia before that. The first time was on a camping in Poland and was in my armpit. I was stung when I put my arm back down after throwing a rock so it would skip over the water. The second time was in Italy, when I needed to remove the power cord from the camping socket, but, unbeknownst to me, wasps had build a nest in the pole where the socket was, so when I put my hand there, BAM, five stings. You will never see a fat kid run as hard as I did that day.
