woah! awsome! I really liked that! And I deffinitely don't think it should be nerfed, it's very creative and some people could find some good uses for it(when contained for example)... Very cool!
I don't see how spamming the group numbers and 'D' would not be better than pressing the combo 'every 16 seconds' by being faster.
Idd, spamming the group numbers and D is faster than what's suggested in the video. It's showing a technique it's not nessessarily showing the optimal way to do it, lol
Oh man thats amazing lol I spent about an hour working it different ways... Gret for a highyield mine where as you can pull 200 extra mins every 15 seconds or so with 16 drones very cool. It was very cool in that on some maps i could fit the nydfus behind the mineral line avoiding destructible rocks... BUT More effective than mining for mins I found doing a double Nydus near Geysers was way more efficent, and even crazier concept that comes to mind is a nydus at a bunch of expos mining off one gas each does two things makes the expos unusable for a long time and you get gas =oO. I qued both worms at two different locations to the same hotkey and with 16 drones it unloads them evenly 8 per geyser 20ish seconds later and i get extra 150 gas... so after the first rotation the Nydus worms pay for themselves super awesome if you ever get contained to playing off one base and need that little extra. Cause its not as risky as expanding but still brings in the income. I think I might use this technique just for the style factor.
That hasn't worked since like, I don't know, April 2010. It is now much more micro intensive (the drones will not auto load back into the Nydus on their own, and instead try to return via ground) and generally not worth it, unless you have an opponent that is too busy watching television to actually play. And of course it would be nerfed. It would be way too abusive for Nydus'ing to remote high yield places. rather than having to really expand. Zerg would basically have no expansion risk other than the nydus extension.
