Currently in Austalia any game that is deemed to be R18+ is atuomatically banned and can not be sold in Australia cause there si no R18+ category for games here. So this petition is for Australia to catch up wit the rest of the world and have an R18+ classification for games. Well hope you said it in a sophisticated way. And just didn't say "you are retards for not having R18+ games" then it's ok. I basically said like this. R18+ games are good for 3 reasons. 1. For parents who allow their teenage children to play M15+ games. They can allow or disallow the R18+ ones. The parents will have the control if this is introduced. 2. For us adults. Some of us love our uber sex filled and violent games. And some of us like the mature games without the sex and gore. So with M15+ and R18+ games, us Adults can better select games based on how much explicit content we want to see in our games. So we can make more informed choices. 3. We will be inline with the rest of the world's game classification systems. I know the games have to independantly classified in Australia but having R18+ games equals more games allowed on the shelves. And that equals more games sames and more revenue to games stores which helps improve te economy of our country.
